「きものサローネ・着物ショー」Kimono Salone Shows

The weekend was full of kimono fun again – Kimono Salone was opening its doors for a second event this autumn.

先週末は「きものサローネ」へ行ってきました。先月と違って、展示会によりきものショーはメインでした。

Finally it also is cold enough to wear some thicker kimono, so I could wear my Jotaro Saito Jersey kimono for the first time. (When I purchased it, it was hot summer.)
Combined with an antique and vibrant obi this was a very nice outfit. (Apart from the fact that nothing worked that day and my hair ended looking like a mess.. oh well.)

天気はだいぶ寒くなりましたので、やっとJotaro Saitoのジャージー着物を着るチャンスはきました。アンティークの袋帯と合わせていい感じですね。（髪のアレンジは失敗して、時間なくてそのまま出かけないといけなかったので一日中イライラしました。）

This time Kimono Salone was held in Nihonbashi COREDO and I bumped into Kevin, the head behind “Omomuki kimono“.
We are both wearing the Jotaro Saito Jersey kimono from different collections.

今回のきものサローネは日本橋のCOREDOで開かれました。「趣着物」のケビンさんも斉藤上太郎のジャージー着物をきてました！夢のコラボ！

The hallways were decorated with many beautiful kimono and coordinates and the upper floor had exhibitions from some artisans. You could also watch or try some of the traditional arts related to kimono.

美しい着物とコーディネートはたくさん展示してありました。様々なアーティストと体験ブースもありました。

AONO KOBOU 青野工房

The first kimono show was by Kyoto artisan Yasuno Aono who makes wonderful vibrant kimono who are very modern and eye catching.
I was excited to see his work up close for the first time.

京都の青野保夫さんはデザインした「青野工房」の着物ショー間に合いました！

色合いとデザインはとてもモダンで綺麗でした。キラキラしいてるアイテムも素晴らしかったです。もちろん伝統的なデザインもあります。

Can you see the glitter details in the fabric? So stunning.　キラキラしてるのは見れますか？

A wonderful show with amazing kimono!

Afterwards I had to run to some other event but went back to Salone for the final show.

素晴らしいコレクション！その後は急いで他の用事に行かないといけなかったが、また夕方のショーのために戻りました。

JOTARO SAITO 斉藤上太郎

I have been excited to see the new collection and there I was. Honoured to sit front row, where I could almost touch the models.
The new collection is breathtaking as usually and hitting all my buttons again – dark, cool and elegant!

新作にずっと楽しみしてた私はなんと、ステージの一番前に座れました。モデルさんをほとんど触れる近さで感動しました。

毎回、素晴らしい新作を考え、毎回アンジーのツボすぎてどうしよう〜♡　ダークでカッコイイけど、エレガントな和装です。すべて欲しい〜〜（泣）

Unfortunately my favourite silver haired male model wasn’t there this time. Hehe.

After Kimono Salone finished for the day, “Kimono de Jack” a kimono gathering group which is present all over the world had a big meeting.
Some interviews and footage from people in overseas where shown.

残念ながら、一番好きなシルバーヘアーの男子モデルはいなかったです。（笑）

きものサローネは終了してから、キモノでジャックのミーティングにも参加しました。海外の着物で集まるグループのメンバーの紹介などありました。

A lovely day with a lot of beautiful Kimono to swoon about.
