Fashion Week Tokyo SS16 - Yuma Koshino & Onitsuka Tiger x Andrea Pompilio
Next up at the Tokyo Fashion Week for me were the shows of Yuma Koshino and Onitsuka Tiger x Andrea Pompilio.
Last fashion week I was also invited to see her collection – so it was great to see the this seasons designs as well. Yuma Koshino impressed as always with fine details, great cuts and exquisite fabrics.
Although this was the Spring/Summer 2016 collection, I was surprised by the rather dark color palette and fabrics of the first third of designs. Rather autumn-ish in traditional sense. However I liked it! And who sais that spring summer collections have to be always in pastel, right?
ONITSUKA TIGER X ANDREA POMPILIO
The final show of this das was by Onitsuka Tiger x Andrea Pompilio. This collaboration is very exciting because Andreas designs usually are quite classic high fashion and very ‘Italian’ in taste. The collaboration with Onitsuka Tiger features special design sneakers and are leaning cool ready to wear street fashion.
Yet, Andrea included his own taste as floral prints into this collection. A perfect match between chic and cool mainly in black white and red shades! (Also LOVED the boxing sack shaped bags!)
My outfit that day was matched with the rainy weather and included my own brands “Not interested” sweater, a plastic see through raincoat, inflatable backpack from the 90s and vibrant makeup by Sugarpill & Lime Crime.
