After losing a lot of masks in the past months, which had slipped out of the pocket, as well as the constant struggle of not knowing where to store the mask while going in and out of trains and shops, something needed to be done!
A mask that is fashionable yet functional!
Our unisex SALZ original design print mask has a soft velcro like "quick touch fastener" on each side of the mask, which allows for it to easily stick to the matching belt.
The adjustable multi function belt can be either strapped around the arm, wrist, bag handle, trouser belt hooks or wherever you see handy.
When not using the mask, simply stick it to the belt and pull it off effortlessly if you need to cover your face.
No more fiddling in pockets and bags. No more lost masks.
Outside of Asia, wearing a face mask seems to be quite a struggle for many. We hope we can contribute to a change of mindset, in which the mask can be a nice fashion accessory, not a stressful obligation. Especially in Winter, masks can actually be quite comfortable as they keep your face warm and protect your skin from the dry air.
Why made in the EU?
Seeing Europe being struck hard by COVID-19, we wanted to contribute (even if only a little) to local creators in Europe, SALZ's roots and home.
Each item is handmade one by one.
Giving back
SALZ received a lot of knowledge and support from kimono artisans and regions over the years. Seeing the kimono world struck severely by the effects of the coronavirus, we want to contribute and give back to the communities.
SALZ will donate part of the mask sales to local institutions, in hope they can contribute to the growth of the kimono art.

The design for mask can be chosen via the drop down menu - the belt will be styled and added by SALZ.

- adjustable ear straps to ensure customized fit
- 100% microfiber polyester
- printed with hypoallergenic eco ink
- washable up to 95℃ (laundry net recommended)

- polyester spandex blend
- metal eyelets / key chain hole
The belt also allows for most of conventional masks which you already have to be attached, when sliding the mask's ear loops through the belt before closing. You can carry your fav mask on this belt too!
