Uber Dandy Kimono x SALZ Tokyo

I hope the New Year started off well for you?
My life has been quite a little busy recently with my kimono business plus a visit back home in Germany over Christmas and New Years.
皆さん、大変遅いですが、明けましておめでとう☆ 良いクリスマスやお正月を過ごしましたかな？ その時期、ドイツに帰国しまして、家族と友達会って毎日た～くさん食べた。w その前後は着物のお仕事で少しバタバタしてたけど、人生楽しんでるー
In-between all that I had a chat with Uber Dandy Kimono who was planning her very own runway fashion show at the Oxford Brookes University in the UK.
She asked me if I want to participate and style one model with a kimono from my collection. Of course I wanted to! The theme of the fashion show was red and black – so I coordinated a kimono outfit for her and shipped it to the UK.
そのうち、イギリスに住んでいる着物の仲間と話し合ってオクスフォードで着物ファッションショーをする予定でして、アンジーとコラボしたいって！まさか！
ファッションショーのテーマは「黒と赤」で自分のコレクションのお着物をモデルに合わせてスタイリングしました。お着物、帯などを日本からイギリスまで郵便で送って、着付けて頂きました。
友達のTia (Uber Dandy Kimono)は他のモデルのスタイリングや着付け全部一人でやりました。大変そうだったけど、結果は素晴らしかったです。ショーの写真をご覧ください。
On the day of the show she and 3 of her friends dressed all the models themselves with a cool and modern kimono style and she even modelled a furisode herself. But have a look at the different styles:

FASHION SHOW VIDEO. A big thank you to Josh who filmed this video for me and Brothers for hairstyling We never all got to rehearse but glad it finished before the song ended. I edited Jero – Umiyuki and Sakamoto Fuyumi – Man from Jowa together using audacity and cut a few seconds off umiyuki that i didn't like. the 6th model is wearing my first international Collaboration with SALZ Tokyo. 2 obi including the one i wore were provided by Miyuki-san and my obi-age by Tegan

A big thank you to Josh who filmed this video for me and Brothers for hairstyling I edited Jero – Umiyuki and Sakamoto Fuyumi – Man from Jowa together. The 6th model is wearing my first international Collaboration with SALZ Tokyo.
She surely had sleepless nights arranging and styling the kimono fashion show all by herself! Really an awesome job!
And thanks so much for having me collaborate with you even we live across the globe away from each other.

Which is your favourite outfit? Mine clearly is the cool gal in the black red striped kimono, checkered blouse and sunnies. Totally rocks my socks!! Did you see that she uses suspenders as well?
どちらのコーディネートは一番気に入り？黒に赤ストライプ、チェックのブラウスとサングラスのは一番好きかも！
