Fashion Week Tokyo AW16/17 – writtenafterwards

After the Jotaro Saito show I was heading to Omotesando to see the new collection of writtenafterwards which was held in Omotesando Hills – a high class fashion mall in Harajuku area.

Known for its creative designs I was eagerly awaiting the shows start and it. was. beyond!

When the first models hobbled and creeped through the runway I knew this is going to be fabulous. Unfortunately I didn’t have the best seat but could still enjoy the awesome designs and artwork.

It was a fun mix of knit, glitter, lace, leather, kimono, feathers and more.
Colourful and many different styles from cowgirl to zombie were shown – the models were playing their roles well.

To see a different and more creative approach and simply having fun apart from the commercial pressure and boredom is what amazes me.
We need more writtenafterwards in our lives for some creative and fun statement items in our wardrobe.
