「着物で四日間」4 days of kimono
How are you doing? Hopefully not caught a cold?
To be honest, I was down with some kinda flu or heavy cold 2 weeks ago. And that is also one of the reasons my blog was a bit silent. Took me some time to recover but I am almost good now.
And once I was good I had to go out in kimono. Over the past weekend I was even out 4 days in a row in kimono. Usually I wear them once or twice per week but never really continuous.. This time I dressed myself every morning.
お元気してますか？風邪引いてない？
実は二週間前ほど、インフルエンザみたいな酷い風邪を引いてた。（泣）それで、ブログを書く力もなく、静かでした。今は元気ですが、ほんの少〜し咳は残ってる。
風邪は治ってからすぐにも着物出かけした。先週末あたりは四日間も続いて毎日着物をきた。普段は週に一回か二回くらい和服をきるけど、何日間も続いてきるのは初めてかも。気持ちよかった〜♡

さて、四日間の着物コーデを紹介：
DAY 1:
Silk komon which was gifted to me paired with a shibori dye obi and self-made guitar obidome.
プレゼントで頂いた小紋を絞りの名古屋帯と手作りのギター帯留めと合わせたコーディネート。
DAY 2:
Basically it was a rainy day, I was a bit sleepy and not very motivated.
To say it frankly – looking back I hated this kimono outfit. The Haori doesn’t fit. I am always in trouble when it rains because I don’t own many Polyester kimono.
However fun thing was that I dressed my friend in the morning in a rock crossover coord.
I think she looked great and I did not. The corset is everything!
ポリエステルの着物は少ない私。雨の日には必ず困る私。（笑）
朝は眠くてテンション上がらなかったコーデ。写真を見るとやっぱりダメだったなー。このコーディネートや着付けでガッカリ。すみまへん。
楽しいことはでも友達に着付けする。コルセットベルトでロックな感じ。彼女はカッコよかったと思う。
First we went to check out ROBE JAPONICA‘s new mens kimono collection with Kevin from Omomuki kimono.
まずは趣着物のケビンさんとローブジャポニカまで。新作は盛りだくさん☆ 男性用ですが、私も欲しくなってきた！
The hanafuda geta are everything! 花札のアクリル下駄！さすがローブジャポニカ。
Afterwards we checked on KIMONO ROCK TOKYO a fun kimono exhibit event by modern kimono brands like Rumi Rock and Modern Antenna.
その後は近くの「KIMONO ROCK TOKYO」まで。モダン着物ブランドは集まるイベントです。以前のレポートはこちら。
There we bumped into more friends – Sheila Cliffe, Spree Kingyo from Berlin, Yuko Sawa and more..
次々と友達出会った。シーラーさん、ドイツのベルリンからいらしたキンギョさん、澤さんなど・・
DAY 3:
Having a meetup in the rain with Spree again to hunt for some gifts and chat over dinner.
I had a good hair day and my “almost” Nihongami turned out quite well and overall I felt good.
キンギョさんと会って、雨の中に子供用のお土産ショッピングと食事。また日本髪風のアレンジをしてみて、形的には今まで一番気に入りかもしれない。
Antique cotton komon paired with Rumi Rocks python look obi and a velvet michiyuki to protect myself from rain and the cold.
アンティーク木綿小紋をルミロックのパイソン帯とベルベットの道行と合わせた雨コーディネート。
DAY 4:
I had to get up super early, get dressed (speed kitsuke in 20 min) and went out for furisode kitsuke lessons.
Actually as a model this time but I learned a lot while watching and hearing the teachers tipps.

朝は早起きして、スピード着付けをしてから振り袖の着付け教室へ向かいました。今回はモデルとしての参加でしたが、それで先生のアドバイスなどを聞いて、たくさん勉強になった。

Afterwards I wanted to rush off to my next appointment but had the honour to be dressed back into my own kimono by Nagai sensei!! Amazing experience and it still shows me that my kitsuke is by far still not perfect. I felt so good after she dressed me.
次のミーティングに行こうとしたら・・ 永井先生に私の着物を着付けて頂きました。とても素晴らしい経験でした。そして、まだ私の着付けはダメだな〜と思ったw 先生の着付けはきちんとしてとても気持ちよかった。はぁ〜♡
She even made a rose out of my obijime! Ayyy ♡
着物に合わせて、薔薇の帯締め結び。きゃー
That day was a bit warm so I wore a wool hitoe and a half-width woven obi belt.
当日は暖かな日でウールの単衣と半幅帯で過ごした。
四日間の着物FUNで部屋がぐちゃぐちゃ（笑）
