Day 14

After our departure in Tsumago-juku we had to hike through another mountain which had two lovely waterfalls.

My husband actually wanted to quit and us to go home yesterday, but I’m not here to stop because it’s “boring” or “so much pain” so I wanted to even continue alone if necessary. However after a discussion he also didn’t want to let me go alone, so here he is continuing with me..
(Well I understand he as a Japanese doesn’t get so excited about traditional houses and stuff and we had a stressful day yesterday so I think he was just too tired and worried about the bears eating us.)

In Magome-juku were so many tourists (okay it’s weekend, but..) and I didn’t like the whole commercial touristy attitude of the area much.

Afterwards we had to just go up and down steep roads to finally reach today’s point of rest: Ooi-juku in Ena city.

Walked distance:
26.9 km
Tsumago-juku to Ena City

Money spent:
Lunch: 1560¥
Dinner: 1600¥ Supermarket

Today’s thoughts:
Good: I’m glad my husband stays with me and seemed to have had fun today
Bad: Had to pop a huge blister which grew over a week. Hope it won’t hurt tomorrow.
