Kimono Rock Tokyo

Last week I went to see several brands at the Kimono Rock Tokyo event.

My favourite kimono brands, Modern Antenna, Rumi Rock and Choko were having a joint pop up shop together with iroca and a mens kimono designer I forgot the name of. (Pardon me!)

In arrangement for the “Rock” title I selected a cool and modern kimono coordinate consisting of a silver & black polka dot silk komon paired with a wine red Nagoya obi with some black lace like design.

My friend joined me with a casual cool kimono x monpe outfit with chucks.

It was fun browsing and seeing the design kimono and accessories in person, touch them and try them on.

The Modern Antenna staff was very lovely and quickly dressed me in their two line kimono and I could touch the obi I want to have for about 1 year already – the union jack obi.

(Unfortunately I am not as wealthy that I could buy a 60.000 JPY obi just like that, so I will keep saving and creeping on the obi for a little longer..)

We had a great time chatting with the creators and watching a fun dance show of two ladies in kimono.
