After losing a lot of masks in the past months, which had slipped out of the pocket, as well as the constant struggle of not knowing where to store the mask while going in and out of trains and shops, something needed to be done!

A mask that is fashionable yet functional!

Outside of Asia, wearing a face mask seems to be quite a struggle for many. We hope we can contribute to a change of mindset, in which the mask can be a nice fashion accessory, not a stressful obligation. Especially in Winter, masks can actually be quite comfortable as they keep your face warm and protect your skin from the dry air.

Why made in the EU?
Seeing Europe being struck hard by COVID-19, we wanted to contribute (even if only a little) to local creators in Europe, SALZ's roots and home.
Each item is handmade one by one.

Giving back
SALZ received a lot of knowledge and support from kimono artisans and regions over the years. Seeing the kimono world struck severely by the effects of the coronavirus, we want to contribute and give back to the communities.
SALZ will donate part of the mask sales to local institutions, in hope they can contribute to the growth of the kimono art.

- adjustable ear straps to ensure customized fit
- 100% microfiber polyester
- printed with hypoallergenic eco ink
- washable up to 95℃ (laundry net recommended)

Belt details:
- unisex size (approx. 45 cm x 4 cm)
- adjustable fit with quick touch fastener
- polyester spandex blend
- metal eyelets / key chain hole

The belt also allows for most of conventional masks which you already have to be attached, when sliding the mask's ear loops through the belt before closing. You can carry your fav mask on this belt too!

利便性
SALZマスクは、SALZマスク用ベルトとセットです。マスクは両サイドにマジックテープがあり、付属のSALZマスク用ベルトに簡単にくっつけることが可能です。マジックテープでなく、ベルト部分でマスクの紐の部分をしっかり固定することもできます。
このSALZマスク用ベルトは、Ｔシャツ、コート、腕や手首、バッグの持ち手、ズボンやスカートのベルト部分など、あらゆる場所にまきつけて使えます。
マジックテープで長さを固定した後も、伸縮性の素材をつかっているので、腕など簡単に取り外しができちゃいます。
メタルで強化されたピンホールには、ストラップやキーホルダーなどを通すなど、用途はあなた次第。
このベルトが便利なのは、SALZマスクだけでなく、ほぼ全ての市販マスクも紐部分で装着可能なのです。

これがあれば、お店に入る前にマスクを取り出すのに手間取ったりすることが格段に少なくなりますよ。

今回のアイテムに込めた想い

メイド・インEUであること
SALZマスク＆マスク専用ベルトはEU製です。自分の故郷でもある欧州は、未曾有のダメージを受けています。2020年も終わりに差し掛かった現在でも非常事態に近いのが現実です。本アイテム制作は、特に厳しい状況にある現地のアーティストさん、クリエイタさん、職人さんの協力を頂きました。一つ一つ手作りです。

着物文化のため
着物関係の方々には、多大な支援を頂いております。現在、コロナで着物業界は深刻な状況に陥っています。無力ではありますが、売り上げの一部を着物文化関連で自治体さん等に寄付します。

ご購入前にご一読下さい：
・追跡番号を付けて発送します。日本国内の場合はレターパック等を利用します。発送方法は選べません。
・日本郵便はアメリカへの追跡番号付発送ができませんので、アメリカの場合は追跡番号無しか、UPSとなります。豪州の場合はUPSとなります。
・在庫がない場合、手作りですので、2週間ほど製造にかかります。
